SAFER SCHOOLS

Safer Yemen is working together with UNICEF and the Ministry of Education on creating safer schools in Yemen. This will be achieved through the design and implementation of country-wide safety and emergency plans for schools, in addition to rapid intervention activities aimed at reducing current war-related risks faced by schools through advocacy and outreach promoting protection of schools during armed conflict as well as visual/audio safety messaging to teachers, students and parents.
