JOURNALIST SAFETY AND SECURITY

Journalists in Yemen face a broad range of risks and Safer Yemen has since 2013 worked closely together with international and local media organisations at projects aimed at enhancing the safety and security of local journalists. This has included developing a Safety and Security Manual for Yemeni journalists in Arabic as well as regular trainings for journalists in safety and security based on the context in Yemen and the specific risk environment.
